This piece is taken from the Retro Booth category of Newcastle-based photographer Kat Timmins. Kat is gaining a reputation in the North East for her superb photography skills and unique style. We are big fans of the Retro Booth and we’re also currently looking at selecting Kat for a project of our own.

The New Tyne Bridge
A fantastic image showing the Tyne Bridge from 8th October 1928 (still in construction at this point). The photograph is by Robert Johnston and is from his 1928 series ‘Monarch’, which included more photography from around the region.
